NE PLUS ULTRA = "CANNOT BE BETTERED" This example is the Triple Controlled 7 Lever Lock which would have been fitted to a large safe door. Price himself was a very enterprising individual with numerous patents to his name. He is probably best remembered for his book published in 1856 on "Fire & Thiefproof Depositories and Locks & Keys". This book is still considered today to be the most important work published in the past 150 years.
