German Rim Lock

German brass and iron door lock.

General appearance suggests 18th/19th century. Rectangular case, plain brass cover. The key shoots 2 bolts and the decorative handle operates the latch. The latch can be held back by adjusting the vertical strap topped with decorative finial. The letters FS are moulded in to both handle grips. Complete with keep.
