Domestic Rim Lock
A
lock manufactured by H T Fallows & Co Birmingham in the style
of a early 18th century design.
The
key passes through a brass box of wards and double shoots the
locking bar. The latch bolt is independently operated by the handle.
The metalwork has been finished in the earlier style however I
believe this lock was made in about 1860.
