Chubb Safe Deposit

Chubb made many designs and variations of safe deposit locks. This example probably dates from the 1920's / 1930 and is controlled by a bank guardian key, renters key and 3 A - Z combination dials. The A - Z dial is detachable and would have been provided to the renter for opening at the time of rental, the renter setting up their own combination of letters.
